Mid-Sept.; somewhat concial; light red with some splashing up to 2" x 1 3/4" under field conditions, without irrigation at Saskatoon; white fleshed; mildly sub-acid; good quality, excellent keeper.

fruit 4.5cm, dark red on light ground. Mid season. Thinning does little to increase apple size, Fair quality. HI.

Thinning did not appreciably increase the size of this variety and it fell short of the 2 inch mark originally described. This is one of the smaller sized introductions and does not compare favourably with the larger fruited ones.
